While shopping with my dad for jigsaw puzzles, we stumbled upon the serie  “Masters of Photography”  featuring the artistic work of photographers.

This collection houses astounding photographs re-purposed into panoramic puzzles, measuring approximately 39″ x 13″ ( 99cm x 33cm) each.

He is well known for taking photos in a very creative point of view.

Imagine how cool it would be to use your own pictures and turn them into a puzzle?

It’s a very good example of how you can be creative with your digital photography .

This brings me to tell you a little bit  more about my dad’s hobby.

He delights so much in doing puzzles that we nicknamed him “Puzzleman”.

Two years ago, when my mother passed away, I suggested this activity to keep his mind busy during the long and lonely days.

He did not believe at first he could do it, because of his age ( he’s going on 84),
but he gave it a try. He liked it so much that he decided to pursue.

And guess what ?

Each and every completed puzzle is exhibited inside the house!

As soon as the puzzle is finished, he glues it all together, and
when dry, with small headless nails, affix them onto the wall.

As you read these lines, he assembled more than 92,000 pieces of jigsaw puzzles, and he is aiming to reach the 100,000 pieces very shortly.

Amazing!
