Evernote: a productivity tool offering a perfect memory!
Evernote: a productivity tool offering a perfect memory!
I’m so challenged to keep track of all the stacks of notes and reminders that accumulates all over the place; in the office, the house, the car, to a point that one day, I said to myself: “There must be a better way!? ”
I had so many notes in so many different places that even though I would diligently try to be organized, I had instances that I forgot about some very important things which put me in critical situations. Totally overwhelmed was I !
So if what I’m saying resonates with you, you’ll be happy to discover the solution I found that literally changed my way of taking notes and has given me since, a ‘perfect memory‘.
It’s a software application (for PC and MAC), easily downloadable: EVERNOTE.
Such a great organization and productivity tool that lets you create, access and synchronize your notes and content, no matter where you are or which devices you’re working with, be it a computer, phone, tablet or a laptop.
Not only can you store your notes and organize them in “groups”, but you can also keep track of photos, videos, audios, web clips and projects of all kind.
Here’s a great review of the newest version of Evernote by our friends at Dottotech:
Just imagine how well you can now centralize and classify your notes…let’s say you are writing a book, or a course, you could divide your notes into chapters, or modules!
What I like best about it, is that you can tag your notes, making it easier to find and access.
You can start with a free account and as you need more space, upgrade to a premium account.
Evernote Productivity Tips and Strategies
Evernote makes it simple to capture audio from your laptop, smartphone, and tablet. Here’s how:
Mac and Windows Desktop
1. Open a note and click the microphone icon.
2. Click Record.
3. You can type into the note while you are recording. If you leave the note, the recording will stop and automatically save. A red dot will appear on the Evernote menu bar elephant logo to indicate that a note is currently recording.
4. When you’re done, click Save to stop recording and save the audio to your note.
