Back in 1991, when I first launched my side hustle eCommerce website dedicated to serving topical stamp collectors and philatelists worldwide, it was easier to shine online than it is today. My partner and I were trailblazers in the stamp collecting niche, being among the first women to establish a commercial website specifically for stamp collectors. Inside our online catalog, enthusiasts browsed and purchased stamps organized by theme and topic.
Although there was less competition back then, we still had to optimize our content to ensure we were found by our ideal clients and to maintain connections with our satisfied and loyal customers.
Today, misconceptions about SEO abound, often leading businesses astray. Many professionals and entrepreneurs invest time and resources based on outdated or incorrect information, only to find their efforts yielding disappointing results.
